The Power
~My gift, ever shining, ever beautiful~

Gift:. “Nature’s Melody” - Rosetta has the power to grow, bring to live and control plants
Explanation... and limitation: She can grow any type and or species of plant (sometimes she uses species she bred herself but there are very few species and they require seeds) at an unnaturally fast speed, bring it to life and control it to do whatever she wants with movements of her hands that resemble conducting an orchestra(she can do the same with existing plants in a 25 metre radius either with coming in contact with the plant or “orchestrating” it like when raising plants that are not already there ) . However she needs soil and or any other plant-growing medium and most plants are defenceless to extreme heat, cold and darkness. Also every plant can be destroyed by her “Shears of Lovenn” or put in a “hibernating” state underground to be resurrected another time. Using this power can sadly be a bit exhausting and sometimes she loses control, when she loses control the plant goes on a growing, destructive rampage and feeds off her aura to grow and feed its rampage. That’s why she chose to come to the school (and to find people that can relate to her situation).

The Fight

Weapon: “The Shears of Lovenn”
Explanation... and limitation: A pair of big gardening shears that look like a huge pair of scissors approximately 1.8 metres long. Made of pure gold and crafted by lunarian artisans with pictures of her family’s past are surprisingly light... They are however not every convenient for example when swinging from vine to vine or back flipping away from an attack and can be hard to move around. She uses them mainly for trimming plants when gardening but when fighting she keeps the open with their unbelievably sharp blades shown to intimidate enemies, she normally only holds one grip and uses the other to strangle enemies or hoop onto branches or vines.

The Mirror
~What do you see? Snow or sun?~

Physical Appearance: She is 5 feet 6 and although she is short around others, she believes she’s average height, she usually sits on tree branches to give her height and because it’s very comforting to her. She weighs 56kg. She has snowy pale skin with a slight rosy tint and has a couple of whiskers at the sides of the cheeks (which she really doesn’t like). Her hair is titian (red-brown), waist-length with long fringe that parts to the left side of her head; her hair is normally tied back into a ponytail. Her eyes are not big but not small and hazel with a hint of terracotta and long eyelashes. Since she is half monkey youkai, she has brown ears at the top of her head and a brown tail that can be used as a third hand to grab things like branches but she doesn’t that often. Her outfit consists of a light green strapless dress with vines wrapping around her left shoulder and right upper arm. She wears leaf leggings that go down to her knees with matching fingerless gloves; a peridot amulet with a gold chain she inherited from her mother’s side of the family and wooden platformed sandals that lace up almost to her leggings. She has an obvious hourglass figure and likes wearing simple but comfy clothing such as jeans, vests and plain dresses at weekends and any other moment of free time.

The Shadow
~Can you connect to me?~
Personality: She’s quite calm and polite around her friends. People say she’s quite modest and that she also has the bad habit of putting others before herself. She’s very shy and nervous in unfamiliar situations and around people she doesn’t know or those of a higher status. She doesn’t really get angry unless those she loves get hurt emotionally and or physically. She normally dislikes conflict but she will defend her friends or those who are defenceless in a fight. Her love for snacks worries others but she burns it all off climbing trees and practising gymnastics. She is quite intelligent due to the excessive research she did to increase her control over her power. Her knowledge of plants is almost unmatched, she knows which plants are which, which are edible, which are poisonous etc. Back on the moon she is nobility and best friends with the princess, she hopes to go home now and again to visit her friends and family.

The Song

Hobbies and interests: She loves being outdoors except when it’s cold but not snowing. She likes gardening, playing any instrument , singing, gymnastics, climbing trees, cooking and making things (e.g. bags)
Likes: plants (all types), Aunt Marinatia, music, walks and snacks.
Dislikes: cruelty, leeches, hate, fights, sun-burn (which she gets quite a bit), waste and liquorice.

The Dream

Dreams/Wishes: Her dream is to be able to control all types of plants, make new species of plants and share them with the universe.
Goals in life (or death): She would like to become a gardener and spend the rest of her life with the plants she grows, her family and friends.

The Lock
~The geneology of memories, until the very end of history~

Family members:Sir and Dame Lovenn (still alive).
Others: Aunt Marinatia (nanny, head maid and mentor), Princess Kaguya the fifth (princess of the moon, best friend),
History: She was born in the citadel hospital on the moon, 1849 A.D. Being born in nobility, the high council foresaw great power in her, so powerful they hired for her parents the powerful former high priestess of the lunar temple, Marinatia Sky a witch/lunarian hybrid; who was all too happy to leave the pressuring job for the more simple; peaceful job as Rosetta’s nanny who became to be known as Aunt Marinatia.
Rosetta’s parents always cared for her when she was young and she loves them dearly to this very day. However then she was 50 (human) years old her parents, although nobility decided to become biologists on Earth. Rosetta then spent more time with Marinatia in her families’ mansion, with her parents coming home only at the holidays and the odd weekend, the pair formed a deep bond.
She was acquaintances with princess Kaguya but they really became best friends when they 60 years old. It was a cold winter school day and they were both in the school yard, waiting to be registered. Kaguya never told any of the children that weren’t nobility she was a princess because she thought nobody would believe her. As they waited, a known bully pushed Kaguya over to make his mean friends laugh. Rosetta saw tears welling up in Kaguya’s eyes and felt this was wrong and shouted “How can you be so mean?! Apologize or you’ll be in trouble!” to the gang of bullies, at first since she wasn’t a pureblood lunarian; she wasn’t taken seriously then a teacher came and recognized the princess straight away; telling the boys off and then registering as normal. Kaguya saw Rosetta’s kind actions and they became friends straight away and have been ever since even though the princess’s friends are supposed to be the purest of the Lunarian blood line.
Rosetta discovered her powers when she was 100 years old. It was a summer afternoon and Her and Aunt Marinatia had just had a lovely afternoon tea in the mansion’s greenhouse, consisting of fluffy scones with strawberry jam and smooth clotted cream, Rosetta decided to pay back Marinatia with a fresh picked sunflower but as soon she touched that sunflower her life changed forever. The once normal sunflower went in a terrifyingly crazy growing frenzy. The beast of a sunflower then snatched her from terra firma, she then felt her aura being sucked right out of her, and she was helpless to the beast’s obviously superior strength. Aunt Marinatia saw the plants rampage and cast an inferno spell, ending the monster’s rampage but setting all the plants in the greenhouse ablaze. Neither Rosetta nor Marinatia were hurt but all the plants that once made the greenhouse an Eden, were ash in a barren wasteland. Rosetta then vowed to learn to control her powers, gaining knowledge of all types and species of plants and practising control over them. Then a letter arrived for her 1 month ago, written in a beautiful calligraphy it declared “You have been invited to Gakuen Mugendai, infinity academy...” she decided to fill in the application form and go to the prestigious school because she heard about it from her parents in one of their stories of their travels around Earth. She now hopes to finally fully control her powers. [/font]
